TB Busters provides award winning, proven biosecurity measures to keep badgers away from farm feed and resources. We are the only company to provide a tailor made biosecurity service that is customized to each individual farm. This is done using a full farm biosecurity survey including night vision cameras to monitor badger activity on your farm. This helps us to quickly identify the most likely routes of TB transmission on your farm. The information gathered enables us to recommend the best way to reduce the impacts of TB on your farm. We use the latest research available to design and install practical and effective on farm biosecurity measures to reduce the spread of TB. These measures also cover other diseases such as BVD, IBR, Johnes, Leptospirosis, Neospora plus many more. BVD breakdowns alone cost an average of £65 per head of the herd. This will improve your ability to continue making a profit if you are currently closed down with TB, under movement restrictions or TB free.
How we do it
We install night vision cameras to monitor badger activity on your farm.
This shows you where badgers come in to contact with your cattle.
We do a full farm survey while installing cameras to highlight area where TB could be easily passed between badgers and cattle.
We design biosecurity measures and a best practise plan for your farm that would stop badgers gaining access to your cattle directly or indirectly passing them TB though feed or water sources
Our biosecurity measures are designed to reduce the costs of farming whether you are under TB restrictions or not, by saving you money on mineral buckets, livestock feed and water, as well as reducing the risk of other disease such as BVD, IBR, Johnes, Leptospirosis, Neospora plus many more. BVD breakdowns alone cost an average of £65 per head of the herd
We use the video footage of badgers on your farm to show you where the badgers are and what they are doing so you can decide which biosecurity measures to put in place on your farm.
You can install these measures yourself or we can to do it for you quickly to the latest DEFRA specifications.
Most people have badgers coming in to contact with their cattle without ever knowing, even though it is the most common cause of TB breakdowns.
We aim to give you peace of mind in knowing that you have done everything you can to reduce the spread of TB on your farm and reduce the spread of TB in your local area.
